The Polytech is a proposed solution to the disconnect between our K-12 education system and higher ed. Three experienced educators observed this problem through their work at community college as also in alternative high schools and decided to bridge this gap by introducing high school students to the demands of colleges while they can still provide support, guidance, and feedback over several terms, building the student's confidence in the college setting and contributing to their future successes.
